Build a weekly budget from income actually received

Start with a unit you can explain

A weekly budget needs income expected within that week, not a future rank’s headline salary. Use completed results you can identify and the number of shifts you choose to model.

The Banking example received 11,600 game naira once; the later 21,000 label was not a received next-shift wage. Neither establishes how many shifts your character will complete this week.

Collect the budget inputs

Read the current Weekly bills and separate recurring costs from optional spending. The budget calculator uses your entries and does not inspect or pay game bills.

Check the unit on every amount

A shift wage, weekly bill and one-off item price should not be added until they refer to the same budget period. Record how you converted each input.

Read surplus as a scenario result

A positive weekly balance says that your entered income exceeds your entered costs. It does not establish property access, future wages or a particular collection schedule.

When the surplus is small, reduce optional spending before treating every future shift as guaranteed. The next article tests a missed shift using the same budget structure.
